Privacy policy<\/h1>\n\n

Data confidentiality is of great importance to the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des G\u00eetes et Chambres d’h\u00f4tes de Wallonie a.s.b.l. and we are committed to an open and transparent attitude when handling your personal data.<\/p>\n\n

1.1 The non-profit association F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des G\u00eetes et Chambres d’h\u00f4tes de Wallonie, whose registered office is at Avenue Prince de Li\u00e8ge, 1\/21, 5100 Namur, registered with the ECB under number BE0442234777, hereinafter referred to as FGDW, operates the websites gdw.fidelodev.be, marmitonetpolochon.be, assisesdutourisme.be, ungitepourtous.be (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”).<\/p>\n\n

1.2 The F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des G\u00eetes et Chambres d’h\u00f4tes de Wallonie is responsible for processing the personal data (hereinafter the “Data”) that we collect during your visit to and use of the Site.<\/p>\n\n

1.3 All personal data that we collect will be processed in accordance with the Belgian and European regulations applicable to the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95\/46\/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”), Directive 2002\/58\/EC, as amended by Directive 2009\/136\/EC and the Act of 13 June 2005 known as the “Electronic Communications Act” as amended by the Act of 10 July 2012.<\/p>\n\n

1.4 You are invited to carefully review this Privacy Policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) and to familiarize yourself with its contents.<\/p>\n\n

ARTICLE 2: SCOPE OF APPLICATION<\/h3>\n\n

2.1 The Charter describes the measures taken for the use and management of your Data when using the Site and your rights as a user of the Site.<\/p>\n\n

3.1.2 Information collected through technological tools.\nWhen you browse our Site, our computer systems may collect passive data such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address or browser type.\nWe also use Cookies to collect information about the date and time of your visit or the areas of the Site you have visited. <\/p>\n\n

3.2 By visiting our Site or communicating your Data, you consent to and authorize the collection and processing of your Data as described in the Charter.\nIf you do not consent to or cannot authorize the collection or processing of your Data as described in this Charter, do not use the Site. <\/p>\n\n

To inform you about our association and its latest news, about possible stays in accommodations affiliated to our network, about ideas for stays based on destinations, activities or events, about commercial offers, discounts or promotions in accommodations affiliated to our network.<\/p>\n\n

The sending of newsletters is only possible with the explicit consent of the user.<\/p>\n\n

The User may withdraw his consent at any time via the procedures described in article 6 of the present Charter.<\/p>\n\n

2\u00b0 Rental proposal<\/p>\n\n

To answer requests for information and reservations<\/p>\n\n

The rental proposal is made possible on the basis of FGDW’s legitimate interest in responding to the User’s requests.<\/p>\n\n

4.3 Tourism professionals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

1\u00b0 Statistics<\/p>\n\n

To collect statistics, to conduct satisfaction surveys, to measure the experience of tourism professionals.<\/p>\n\n

The processing of data relating to statistics is possible on the basis of FGDW’s legitimate interest in improving the services offered to tourism professionals.<\/p>\n\n

4.3.2.\nMembres <\/p>\n\n

1\u00b0 Data update<\/p>\n\n

To update members’ contact details and information, as well as their accommodation details: description, availability, rates…<\/p>\n\n

The updating of data is possible on the basis of FGDW’s legitimate interest in presenting up-to-date information on the rental offer.<\/p>\n\n

2\u00b0 Newsletters<\/p>\n\n

To keep members up to date on news from our association and\/or our Partners, on news from the local tourist accommodation sector and the tourism sector in general, on events organized by our association and\/or its Partners, on specific actions.<\/p>\n\n

The sending of newsletters is possible on the basis of FGDW’s legitimate interest in communicating with its members about its news and\/or that of its Partners.<\/p>\n\n

3\u00b0 Events<\/p>\n\n

To manage registrations for actions, training courses, meetings organized by our association, to communicate with registrants about the event before, during and after the event, to send documents or presentations related to the event.<\/p>\n\n

The processing of event-related data is possible on the basis of FGDW’s legitimate interest in ensuring the proper follow-up of organized events.<\/p>\n\n

4.3.3.\nProspects <\/p>\n\n

1\u00b0 Information sessions<\/p>\n\n

To manage registrations for information sessions organized by our association for potential future owners of local tourist accommodations, and to communicate with registrants before, during and after the information session.<\/p>\n\n

The processing of data relating to information sessions is possible on the basis of FGDW’s legitimate interest in ensuring the proper follow-up of the information sessions organized.<\/p>\n\n

2\u00b0 Follow-up<\/p>\n\n

To follow up the affiliation file of potential future owners of local tourist accommodations, to communicate by telephone and e-mail with potential future owners of local tourist accommodations about the services provided by our association.<\/p>\n\n

File tracking is only possible with the user’s explicit consent.<\/p>\n\n

The User may withdraw his consent at any time via the procedures described in article 6 of the present Charter.<\/p>\n\n

3\u00b0 Newsletters<\/p>\n\n

To inform potential future owners of “terroir” tourist accommodations about news from our association and\/or our Partners, news from the “terroir” tourist accommodation sector and the tourism sector in general, events organized by our association and\/or its Partners, and specific actions.<\/p>\n\n

The sending of newsletters is only possible with the explicit consent of the user.<\/p>\n\n

The User may withdraw his consent at any time via the procedures described in article 6 of the present Charter.<\/p>\n\n

4.3.4.\nAutres professionnels du tourisme <\/p>\n\n

1\u00b0 Newsletters<\/p>\n\n

To inform tourism professionals about news from our association and\/or our Partners, about news from the local tourist accommodation sector and the tourism sector in general, about events organized by our association and\/or its Partners, about specific actions.<\/p>\n\n

The sending of newsletters is only possible with the explicit consent of the user.<\/p>\n\n

The User may withdraw his consent at any time via the procedures described in article 6 of the present Charter.<\/p>\n\n

2\u00b0 Events<\/p>\n\n

To manage registrations for actions, training courses, meetings organized by our association, to communicate with registrants about the event before, during and after the event, to send documents or presentations related to the event.<\/p>\n\n

The processing of event-related data is possible on the basis of FGDW’s legitimate interest in ensuring the proper follow-up of organized events.<\/p>\n\n

ARTICLE 5: COMMUNICATION TO THIRD PARTIES<\/h3>\n\n

5.1 We regard Data as confidential information.\nWe will only disclose it to third parties under the conditions specified in this Charter. <\/p>\n\n

5.3 We may disclose your Data if necessary to\n(a) comply with applicable laws or comply with a court order or injunction; or\n(b) protect and defend our rights or those of the users of the Site. <\/p>\n\n

5.4 We may “anonymize” Data by removing personally identifiable elements such as name and e-mail address, and aggregate the data for use in market research or other business purposes.\nWe may then disclose this anonymized information to third parties. <\/p>\n\n

ARTICLE 6: RIGHT OF OBJECTION<\/h3>\n\n

6.2 To unsubscribe from our newsletters, you may exercise your right to object by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each of our newsletters.\nUnsubscription requests are only effective if a message confirms this.\nIf this is not the case, you may exercise your right to object as described in article 6.1 of this Charter. <\/p>\n\n

ARTICLE 7: RIGHT OF ACCESS, RECTIFICATION, DELETION AND LIMITATION OF PROCESSING<\/h3>\n\n

7.1 You have the right to access, rectify, delete and limit the processing of Data concerning you, in accordance with Articles 15, 16, 17 and 18 of the RGPD.<\/p>\n\n

You also have the right to receive the Data that concerns you and that you have provided to FGDW in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and the right to transmit them to another controller when the processing of such Data is carried out using automated processes.<\/p>\n\n

ARTICLE 9: COOKIES<\/h3>\n\n

9.1 Cookies are data sent to your terminal from your browser when you visit the Site and which include a unique identification number.\nCookies simplify access to and navigation of the Site and increase the speed and efficiency of its use.\nThey may also be used to customize the Site according to your personal preferences.\nCookies are also used to analyze the use of the Site. <\/p>\n\n
